A Spontaneous Aries
My name is Bianca. I am 14 years old and in the 9th grade. I live with my mother, step-father, and three little sisters. I have 4 brothers, but they live with my grandpa. My 5 symbols are: the number 805, law & justice symbol, my family crest, Aries zodiac sign, and the Chinese symbol for friendship.
My first symbol represents my past. I chose 805 because that is the area code for Oxnard. I was born and raised in Oxnard. But in 2005, we moved due to all the gang violence their. Oxnard is my favorite place in the world because I have all my family and friends there. Everyone knows my family in Oxnard because we are well known and liked. Plus, my family has lived there for over 20 years.
My second symbol is law and justice. I chose the symbol because I want to be a lawyer in the future. I’ve wanted to be a lawyer since I was small. My family thinks I’ll be a good lawyer because I like to argue and I hate to lose in an argument or fight. I would like to go to Harvard or Stanford when I’m older. If not, then I’ll go to Utah University to major in music.
My third symbol represents family. I chose my family crest for this symbol. My family crest is red and gold. It has a red lion and a gold castle. The lion represents bravery and courage. My family is brave because we never back down from a fight. We fight for what we think is right. The gold castle represents structure and wealth. My family leans on each other and we stick up for each other. We give each other advice, money, etc. The wealth shows that we are smart with our money and we save all of our money for the future.
My fourth symbol is the Chinese symbol for friendship. My friends are a big deal in my life because they were there for me when I was in a dark place. My friends are my family. Every time I go to their house we chill. Their parents will even call me their child and vice versa. I know I can trust my friends because we’ve always been there for each other. I can trust them and I know that they love and care about me. This is why this is my symbol of choice.
My fifth and final symbol is my zodiac sign which is an Aries. It represents my personality. I’m loud, ambitious, spontaneous, self-confident, musical and shy. I can be really shy at first, but if you get to know me, you can tell that I’m REALLY loud. You would also catch me writing music notes down. I’m very musical, that’s why. I play 6 instruments and I’ve been playing for about 6 years. I play: the violin, viola, cello, bass, ukulele, and recorder. But, I’m learning how to play the electric guitar and piano. I’m very straight-forward of what I want. If I want something, then I’ll try my best to get it. So this is why I chose Aries as my personality symbol.
So these are my 5 symbols. 805 to represent my past, law and justice for my future, Gallegos crest for family, Chinese symbol that says friendship, and Aries to represent my personality. These 5 symbols represent my life and who I am and want to become.

Never giving up
My name is Jaylah Martinez. I am 14 years old. My past symbol is a notebook because when I was younger I started to write. The future symbol I chose was a microphone, it’s for the day I become famous and tour the world with the music I wrote. For my family symbol I chose the owl because it means to have wisdom and a sharp eye. My choice symbol is the logo that is Supra, because these shoes are my favorite type of shoes. My personality symbol is my zodiac sign which is a Capricorn that is about being a leader and never giving up on anything.
My past symbol is a notebook. The notebook is what helps me become who I am today. The things that were in the notebook were songs and stories that I wrote. The first song I ever wrote was in that notebook. A story that wrote was about a notebook that I had kept for years and always read back to myself but never showed anyone because I was always thinking about “What would they say about what I just did”. One day it all changed because I showed my teacher one of my songs and she said that she loved it. Form that day forward I wrote more and more. To this day I still write.
My future symbol is a microphone. The reason is because I have a love for music. The love for music started when I was 8 years old and I just stared singing all the music I would listen to. When I was 10 I told myself “One day all the people that are saying you can never do this, I’m going to say I never gave up and look where I am now, better and stronger than I ever was”. The day that I am on top of the world I can say I never gave up and you shouldn’t either.
My family symbol is the owl. The reason is because it means wisdom and having a sharp eye on things. This is because my mom and sister are the ones in the house that have the sharp eye and never let anything get out of hand. The wisdom part of the symbol is because I can get a lot of information from my parents about anything I would or need to know. This is the symbol I chose because it’s like who I am and what my family is also.
My chose is the logo that is Supra. The reason for this is the shoes. What are about the shoes that I like I don’t know, it’s just they talk to me saying “Don’t look at the beauty, look what’s inside of you”. Another reason is that these shoes are not just shoes. It is logos on hats, cars, even celebs. wear it. The logo for Supra is a crown. What the crown means to me is “Being on top of the world”. This what the Supra logo means to me.
My last but important symbol to me is my personality that is my zodiac sign that is a Capricorn. For this symbol it means to be a leader/ruler. But that’s not all it means to me. To me it means always trying and never giving up on what you’re doing and always following your dreams. For me, being a Capricorn, it’s not that easy being a leader because it’s kind of in your blood. This is the conclusion of never giving up and always reaching for the stars.

Strength My name is Isabella, I am 14 years old, soon to be 15 in December. In this essay I’m going to discuss the five symbols that represent my life. My symbols are the Japanese symbol for alone, a rosary, the Dallas Cowboys star, the world flags, and the tiger from the Chinese zodiac. The Japanese symbol for alone represents my past. Ever since I was in kinder garden I was very lonely, I don’t like that much people around me. Sometimes I would be happy by myself, other times I would feel empty. Even now I don’t like to communicate with others and be around people. It is very rare that anyone sees me with someone or socializing. The rosary represents my future. Right now I am taking classes to make Conformation. I am a catholic so I have to complete the Sacraments. I don’t really know that much about Conformation but, I know that I will be done in about two years. If I get confirmed, I will be the first one in my family to complete that Sacrament. The Dallas Cowboys Star represents my family. My family and I are fans of the Dallas Cowboys. Even though we are not from Texas, we still support the team. I don’t really have that much interest in football, but my family loves it so I follow. The World Flags represents my interest. I became interested with the world countries when I watched an anime called “Hetalia”. It is basically about world history. And when I finally finished the series I wanted to learn more about other countries. Over the summer I have learned how to sing two songs in Icelandic and Romanian, some words and a few sentences in Japanese, and a few words in Norwegian. Now I am trying to memorize the World’s flags. And finally my last symbol is the tiger of the Chinese zodiac. I choice this symbol because I was born in 1998, and I am strong but very timid. I’m often asked if I’m Asian, I am, but it gets a bit annoying sometimes. I am looking forward to what god has in store for me, and whatever happens, I will try not to let any problems get me down.

A Cool Looking Mandala
Hello there my name is Taiki Cabrera. There are a lot of symbols in the world like an exit sign. Each symbol could mean something different for everyone. In this essay I will tell you the five symbols I chose and what they mean to me. The past symbol I chose is the Horde faction icon from World of Warcraft. The future symbol I chose is the MLB logo because I want to be a professional baseball player. The family symbol I chose is a cross because my family and I are Christians. The symbol I chose freely is the Super Smash Bros. Melee logo because it’s one of my favorite games. The personality symbol I chose is a car named after me.
My past symbol is the Horde icon from the game World of Warcraft. I chose this symbol because I played a lot of World of Warcraft when I was younger. I chose the Horde faction because my brother was on the Horde. I remember when my brother and I would complete quests, kill world bosses, and raid bosses with our friends. Sadly, those days are over but they are some of the best days of my life!
I chose the MLB logo because baseball is my future. I plan to get a scholarship to a college and hopefully get drafted from college. I would like to get drafted by the Cincinnati Reds because that is my father’s favorite team. If I don’t, that’s fine any team will do.
The symbol I chose to represent my family is a cross. I chose the cross for my symbol because my family and I are Christians. Sadly, we aren’t going to church at this time. I hope we could start going soon. I do have a bible that I read when I could.
For the choice symbol, I chose the Super Smash Bros. Melee icon. I chose this symbol because I remember when my sister, two brothers, and I would play the game all day long. My sister Audrey would always play the character Link. My brother Tony would always choose Samus. My brother Andrew Would either choose the characters Ganondorf or Sheik. The character I chose all the time was Falco. When we all got older we kind of separated and stopped playing, but those are memories I will cherish forever.
All of these symbols are important to me, but the most important symbol to me is my personality symbol. The personality symbol I chose is a car from Japan named after me. It’s called the Mazda Taiki. I think it looks really cool, I also think I should get a percentage money they make from the car. Well, those are the five symbols that represent me. What are yours?

Not Defined
My name is Elizabeth Santana, I’m 14. In this essay I will talk about five symbols and what their meanings are. My past symbol is a rabbit. My future symbol is a key that says “Future” on it. My family symbol is a couple people holding up a heart. The symbol of my choice is One Direction’s logo “1D”. And my personality symbol is a lot of personalities bunched in together.
My past symbol is a rabbit because on of the Astrological Chinese Year. I don’t know what I am in the Zodiac thing, but I’ve always knew what I was in the Chinese one thing since I was a little kid. The rabbit is for the year 1999. It means “Luckiest of all signs, you are talented and also articulate. Affectionate, yet shy. You seek peace throughout your life.”
My future symbol is a key that says “Future” on it. It’s because I don’t know what my future is going to be like. I think of it as if you have a key and that key can only open one door. In that door is your future. What door you chose to open is your choice. And that’s where you being your future.
My family symbol is people holding up a heart. I have that symbol as my family one because no matter what happens they are there for me. And always will be. Also because I’m not the perfect kid but they love me any ways.
The symbol of my choice is the One Direction logo sign “1D”. I chose it because they mean a lot to me. They are my favorite artist. I’ve been to one of their concerts and cried. And I’m a proud Directioner.
My personality symbol is a lot of personalities all bunched up together. It’s because at one time I can be shy or out going. I can be fun or serious. I can be smart or dumb. I can also be loud or I can be quiet.

The symbols I’m going to discuss are about my life and they are about my past, future, personality, family and also my choice.
My first symbol is a buggy. The buggy was blue and it was fast. But one day I was with my uncle also my brother was with us but he got off because he had to use the restroom .Then me and my uncle left on the buggy we were going fast and my uncle ran over a big rock. When we hit the rock we flipped over the tire fell off but we didn’t get hurt because the buggy was made of metal.
My second symbol is London because it’s were I want to go in my future. I seen pictures of London in the internet and also on movies and I like it .When I go I want to take my wife over there. I want to see new places in the world because I like to travel. Those are some things I want to do in my future.
My third symbol is Mexico because that represents my family. My family always goes to Mexico to have parties and to go to the beach. They like it there because they say there is more freedom over there .We are always on the buggies or motorcycles. We spend like the whole day on them. That’s why Mexico is my family symbol.
My fourth symbol is a Nissan GTR because I like them and I want to have one when I’m older. They are fast cars and that’s what I like about them. I also like the Nissan skyline GTR R34 but you can’t have them in California because they are too fast. But when I’m older I’m going to go to Japan and try to drive one. That’s what my fourth symbol represents.
My fifth and final symbol is my danger sign because I like to do dangerous stuff .When me and my uncle flipped over on the buggy, it was cool. I like to do dangerous stuff because I like to experience new things for example when I get older I want to go skydiving. Tomahawks
My name is Seth Bell, I am 14 years old. I am a freshman at Desert Hot Springs High School I am going tell you about five symbols that represent my life. These five symbols are a Native Headdress, Dream Catcher, Family Tree, Tomahawks, and Adidas. These symbols represent my past, future, family, personality, and something I enjoy. The symbols and what they represent are listed in the exact order.
The native headdress to me represents my past because our past is about natives being over ran by the invaders of there land. They were put on reservations in the state of Oklahoma. After that they started to get portions of land like in Palm Springs, Morongo, Las Vegas, etc.
My next symbol is Dream Catcher. The reason my I chose this symbol is because that is what I want to get as a tattoo and I want my grandmas name inside the Dream Catcher. It is also important to me because I want it to be my first tattoo.
My third symbol is a family tree it represents the size of my family. I have a really big family. I have family on the east coast, west coast, and Central America. My family in Oregon has their own gun shop and their own property. None of my family really gets along.
My fourth symbol is my adidas symbol. I picked this symbol because I like this shoe brand and the shoe brand lasts forever. I’ve had these shoes for 5 years. I’ve had the same shoe size for 5 years.
My fifth and final symbol is tomahawks because they express how I am native. They are also good to me in games. When I was little I used to play with tomahawks. This is my final symbol because this reminds me of my past.

SMILE BIG
My name is Gabriela Rocha. I am 14 years young. Everyone calls me Gaby (except my mom that calls me GABRIELA when she’s mad) I have two older brothers, Erick which is 18 and Kelvin 15. The symbols I’m going to write about mean everything to me, because one of them made what my family is today. Thought, my mandala you will read about my family, my past, my future, and my personality.
My first, symbol is my family which is really important to me. My family symbol is something that I will always be grateful about. When my brother Erick was around 3 years young he got really sick. The4 doctors never knew what kind of disease it was. Ever since then, my brother has been in a wheelchair. Even though the world thinks that where not a normal family, family and I know we are and that’s all that matters to us.
My second, symbol is my past. For my past I chose the Honduras flag. The Honduras flag means everything to my family.
more than three generations have lived there for many years. My brothers and I are the first generation too be born in America. Even though we where not born there it still means something to us because its part of our history.
My third symbol is my future. For my future I would like to become a successful doctor. And work and “Children Hospital City of Los Angeles” .The reason I would like to work there is because that hospital saved Erick’s life .And because right next door my brothers and I where all born at. That hospital has saved many kids life. And an amazing husband. I don’t expect it to perfect, because no one is perfect, but I do expect it to be a healthy, educated and amazing family.
My fourth symbol is the Raiders. This symbol is the coolest symbol ever, in my opinion. My brothers and I are really big fans. Many girls don’t like football, but I’m a big fan. I guess you can call me a football girl. Every player on the team is good but there that one player that is better than every one else. My favorite player is player is number 21 Jenkins, Mike. Also the oldest person is Woodson , Charles number 24 who is 36 years –old.
Also my last symbol is personality. I think that personality is a really big part of life because many people have different personality. My personality is outgoing. I believe that if you have a smile, life is easier. I the type of person that gets through life will a smile.
I hope now that now that you have read a little about my family, future, my past and my football team and my BIG SMILE you see that aim just an amazing person like you .That lives life to the fullest with a BIG SMILE.

Standing Strong
My name is Alejandra. I am 14 years old and in the 9th grade. I live with my parents and older brother. For my mandala essay, the 5 symbols I chose were the growth symbol, a doctors symbol, the infinite love symbol, a success symbol, and a quote that says, “I am who I am, take it or leave it, I live to please me and no one else.”
I chose the growth symbol to symbolize my past because I’ve grown so much. So many things have happened that I’ve realized so many things. For example, every little mistake is always a lesson or you should never depend on anyone and always fight for what you want. Grow up and realize not everything’s fun and games.
For my future symbol I chose the doctors symbol. I chose that symbol because I plan on becoming a pediatrician. I’ve known I wanted to become a children’s doctor for a very long time now. I always found it interesting how you could know whether or not someone has a disease or health issue. I just like the fact that I could be helping newborns until there adolescents.
The symbol I chose to represent my family is the infinite love symbol. I chose that symbol because no matter what happens I will always love them and I know they would love and support me with anything. Their always there for me no matter what and I will always be there for them. At the end of the day, their always by my side and their all I need.
I chose the Chinese success symbol as my choice symbol because I want to succeed in life. I want to go to college and make my parents parent’s proud. Most importantly, I want to be proud of myself knowing I reached my goal.
For my last symbol, I chose a quote that’s basically saying I wouldn’t change for anyone just because they don’t like something abut me to represent my personality. If they like me great, if they don’t, oh well. Everyone has flaws but you shouldn’t try to change them because it’s what makes you unique. I describe my self as care-free, independent, thoughtful, and I could care-less of what people say about me.

My Five Symbols of Life
My name is Loralee Pine and I am thirteen years old. I live with my mom and my five other sisters. My five symbols are Los Angeles Times, different buildings, a cross, a soccer ball, and a lot of different music notes.

My second symbol is different types of buildings. It represents my future and what I don’t want to be. When I grow up I want to be successful, I am never ever going to be a homeless person on the streets! It is my worst hope because it would be my fault not trying to do something with my life.
My third symbol is a cross and it represents my family. My whole family is super religious. Whenever there in a difficult situation, they always pray and stop worrying about there mistakes. They relax and take the next step forward.
My fourth symbol is different music notes and it represents my choice. I love listen and dance and make up steps. Music is a big part of my life because my family and I always listen to it everyday and it is fun!
My fifth symbol is a soccer ball and it stands for my personality. Soccer is my favorite sport and I play it everyday. My family grew up playing this sport and we all love it very much. Its like a test, you can’t cheat and need to focus.

Inside Out
My name is Esmyrna. I am a 14 year old freshman in Desert Hot Springs High School. I describe myself as a quiet, easy going, and calm person. I also express myself good in music. I play the clarinet, guitar and piano. The symbols that I am going to represent are real African symbols that represent real meanings and significance. A heart with curves in its ends, a butterfly, four heart put together as a flower, a diamond, and lastly a sun over a curved moon.
The first symbol that I am going to represent is a heart with curves in its ends. This symbol represents my past by symbolizing discovery. I used to be so curious when I was a little girl. Very observative in every common thing. For instance, I will always observe the world by facing my car’s window to the smallest thing like following every cricket that passes by me. Every thing that I saw was like a discovery that I just found out about the world around me.
Secondly, I have a symbol that looks like a butterfly. This butterfly , it stands for what I expect when I am an adult. I want to be a professional musician when I grow up so for that I need to be a ready, steady, and a hardworking person for that to happen. Readiness which means willingness to do something, steadiness which describes position of permanence, and finally hardiness that represents my determination in any solid perseverance. These are the words that will soon describe me when I have my career.
My third one symbolizes my family. It has four hearts put together looking like a flower. This stands for God’s presence and protection. I am a Christian and for that I believe in god that will always protect my family by his presence. I go to church every Thursday and Sunday and I enjoy going to church. For me, the word of God is a big part of my family and I. This is one reason why I’ve chose this symbol.
The fourth step to my choice is a symbol that interprets love and security that is in a shape of a diamond. All the choices I’ve made during my life distinguishes this symbol. For example, I make sure the choices I make are choices I enjoy doing. I also select my choices by doing what is right and safe. These two words are mostly the two words that first pop out of my head when I decide to do a choice of my own.
In conclusion, all of these symbols describe my life story but my personality. The symbol that represents my person is a sun over a curved moon. This stands for serene, tranquility, and sincerity. I take my life calm, quiet, and straightforward. Even though people tell me I’m quiet and I always look serious it doesn’t mean I’m always like that. When you get to know me I will always smile a lot and very hard to get mad with. I personally identify myself with these symbols that describe my past, future, family, choice, and lastly my personality

My first symbol about me is my Past, My future, Family, My choice, my very last one would be my personality. They all explain what I want to do in life and about myself and family. Now I’m going to tell you about them.
My first symbol is about my Past. I picked this symbol because I’ve changed a lot and I can say my past wasn’t the best. My symbol says, “In Order To Be Irreplaceable One Must Always Be Different.” It explained a lot about me because I am always the odd one out on every thing. No one really talked to me because I was weird and quiet and kept stuff to myself.
My second symbol is about my Future. I picked it because I want to accomplish it. My symbol says “Embrace Your Dreams, Follow You’re Heart, Cherish You’re Life.” I want to follow my dreams on doing piercings, following my heart on getting a big house, extra money to spend on the little family I want to have, and to cherish the people in my life because they have been here with me through thick and thin.
My next symbol is about my family. I chose this Photo because it fits how my Family used to be. I love my family and I wish I can go back in time to fix every little thing I did wrong so I can make my family happy again. We get sick of each other but we still love each other and will never give up on one another. My goal is to make my family proud of me to get through high school and get a good job and support my family with all I have.
My second to last symbol is my Choice. My Choice is My Dream Job. I want to do Piercings for a living. My Favorite Teacher I had in 6th grade always told me to do what I love. I can honestly say that I love piercings and I want people to be happy with their body without everyone judging about how they look. It takes 7 years to be trained and learn everything about the body. I feel that I can accomplish my choice after I get out of high school.
My last symbol is my Personality. I chose this picture because it’s about me. Pisces are unique, loud, stand out, don’t let anyone get in our way, and get along with certain people. I can relate to this because I’m loud, I stand out, and I don’t let anyone get in my way. The Pisces is apart of the Chinese calendar. I can say a lot of people don’t get a long with me because I’m very loud but for all the Pisces out there don’t let anyone stand in you’re way of anything be you’re self and not someone else.

The wild one
My name is Ruby I am 14 years old. I live with my mother and my older brother. I’m going to tell you about my life in five different symbols they’re about my past, future, family, choice of mine and my personality. I chose a lion, a palm tree, an infinity sign, two hands shaking, and a cat.
My first symbols is a lion, the reason I picked a lion is for my past. My dad past away he was a Leo, it represents how strong and perseverant he wanted for us to be when his gone.
I picked a palm tree for my future because a palm tree is strong, no matter how strong the winds are they stay strong and straight they may be twisted and deformed but they still stand on their roots.
My third symbol is an Infinity sign, this symbol stands for forever, I picked it to represent my family. We have more than 150 members and wish for it to last to infinity so I can meet the new generation.
For my choice I picked two hands shaking, the reason I chose two hands shaking is because I believe that together we can do more, we can also accomplish much more together.
For my conclusion I choose a cat for my personality. A cat is playful but yet alert at all times. I had a cats all my life that’s I chose a cat, you might not believe me but cats are very caring they might not show it all the time like dogs but they are and they’re fluffy. Anyways these are my five symbols that explain a little about me.
The end

My name is Ilyssa and I’m 14 years old. I have 5 sisters and 2 brothers. I live with my mother, stepdad, brother, and two sisters. I’ve chosen 5 very important symbols in my life; a butterfly, a cookie jar (cookie monster), the sunlight, a money tree, and a camera.
The butterfly represents “Family”. This symbol is very important to me because I have memories from when I was younger and great grandma would always tell me “every time you see a butterfly, that’s your grandpa”. My great grandpa died before I was born but ive heard great things about him and he means a lot to me as much as my grandma even though I haven’t meat him. So every time I see two butterflies it reminds me of my them. This symbol means a lot to me because she was a big part of my family and I wish she was still here. The memory of her makes me realize how important family is to me and to cherish the moments we have because tomorrow isn’t promised for anybody.
The cookie jar represents my past / childhood. I remember when I was younger when I lived in a house with my dad, his girlfriend, stepsister, stepbrother, and my older sister, we had a cookie jar and for some reason me and my sisters and brother believed the house was haunted. We thought it had something to do with the cookie jar. This is important to my life because it reminds me of my childhood when I had an innocent mind and a big imagination.
The money tree represents my future. No I will not be rich when I’m older but I plan on being successful and having a bright future. I’m still thinking of which career I would like and what field I want to work with. Not only do I want to be successful but I want to be happy with what I do.
The camera means too appreciate the moments and the people you have in your life because any day you can have a loss. Tomorrow you can lose someone very important to you that can be taken away from you. Don’t take life or people for granted.

The Courageous One
My name is Veronica and I’m 14 years old. I have 5 symbols that represent part of my life. Therefore, in this essay I will be talking about all 5 symbols. The 5 symbols are a footprint, a red cross, a Latin cross, an Arise, and a music note.
A footprint represents my past because it’s a reminder of my baby brothers passing. The day he passed away was the same day he was born. One of the things the doctor gave my mom was a card that had my brother’s footprint on it. Every time I look at the footprint I get sad, but also happy knowing he is watching over my family and me.
For my future, my symbol is a red cross because it represents the hospital. When I graduate I want to become an ER Nurse. ER stands for emergency room. I want to be an ER Nurse because I want to help people who are injured or sick.
My family is religious and to represent that, is a Latin cross. My family is Catholic and we go to church every Sunday. Everyone in my family owns a rosary and we have it in our own rooms. We thank God every day for everything we have and that we are still alive.
Music is something that I love so much that’s why the symbol of my choice is a music note. I listen to music every day, if I don’t listen to music in a day it won’t be a good day for me. In addition I like to play my guitar, write songs, and sing.
My Birthday is on March 26, that means the symbol for my month is an Arise. An Arise stands for independent, generous, optimistic, enthusiastic, and courageous. I’m the type of person that is courageous like when I faced my fears of going on a super scary ride. When I put myself to do something I do it and I don’t give up.
In conclusion, all of these symbols are very important to me. All the symbols represent something in my life that I cherish for a very long time.

Cocky
My name is Andre Freeman and I go to Desert Hot Springs High School. I play football for the DHS eagles. My position is running back, receiver, and cornerback. I live with my mom and stepdad and my brothers and sister. I have 4 brothers and one sister that live with me. I got another brother an sister from my real dads side, we go see him sometimes but not often no more because we have to deal with football.
My first symbol is my mom because she cares the most for me. My mom is the greatest mom ever to me because she put me on this earth. Every time I get mad at her I listen to that song Dear Momma by 2PAC. She is awesome because if she got the money she will give me whatever I want. My mom is equal to all of us because she loves each and every one of us.
The second symbol is football because I always wanted to go to the NFL when I was little. The reasons I chose football is because it’s fun and I like to run the football. Football is everything in life for me because all my friends and big brother play with me. I’m all so the reason my brother likes football now because he seen me run the football when I first started. My favorite team in football is the St’ Louis Rams because that’s the team I use to watch when I was a little kid.
My third symbol is my family in Riverside. My family had the greatest times out there. We all lived close to each other and played together. I went to school with all my cousins and friends and we played basketball and football together it was fun. I go to church all the time with my cousins and aunties all the time. We had bible studies, we played a lot of games and had a lot of barbeques.
My fourth symbol is the Rams because I want to be a professional football player. My future is the same thing as my choice because my future is football. I love the Rams since I was a little kid. Now I want to go to the NFL because I love the Rams. My favorite player on the Rams is Steven Jackson, Steven Jackson influenced me to be a running back.
My fifth symbol is cocky because I tell everyone that I’m better than them. I like to be confident in myself so I won’t be scared to do something. I like my personality because it’s funny all so because I like to be confident in myself. I’m cocky in football too because I’m good at it and everyone says the same thing. One thing I like to do at home is play madden 25 at my house because I smash people online.

Scribbled Lines
My name is Justin Scott Whalen, I am 15 years old. I attend as freshman at Desert Hot Springs High School. I have three younger siblings as well I live with both of my biological parents. Instead of choosing for a wide variety of symbols of the Internet, I chose to draw my symbols so I can explain them in a better fashion. The symbols I have designed are Space for my past, a sketch book for my future, a house for my family, and a musical note for my choice.
For space being my past symbol may be odd it has its own reason, I chose space because when I was younger I would always look up at the stars and became curious about what was up there. I was always looking at the news on the internet about planets and what we know about them, still being curious as can be. My family knew I had a big obsession about space and its galaxies and nebulas (whilst being of the age of six those where big words to pronounce) to this very day I am still very curious about the origins of the universe.
For my second symbol I drew a sketch book to envision my future. I enjoy drawing from time to time and I’ve been interested about animation. So I want to be an Animator of some sort (Depending on which field I’m good at) I would still enjoy working with it. I’m decent when I try my hand at amateur animation on my home computer but it’s not all that great yet. I’m thinking of buy a tablet so I can practice drawing on the go.
For my third symbol I drew a house to represent my family. My family can be sarcastic at times but they’re still helpful and loving. Oddly enough I we have a family friend living with us and he’s about the same when it comes to the sarcasm. My dad is the main worker in the house, while my mom is a stay at home mom, cleaning, cooking, and taking care of some of the dogs, the usual. As a family we all pull jokes on each other every once ‘n awhile.
For my fourth symbol which is my choice, I chose a music note to explain my love for music and the instruments I can play. So far I can play a Saxophone and an Ocarina but I don’t think I’m good at them yet. I can some what read music but just not all the way. I would also like to get into the profession of music and being a Band Director, but I did some research on the field and it appears to be a struggle to get a decent job.
For my fifth symbol which is my personality, I drew practically a bunch of scribbles. I drew this because I’m everywhere when it comes to personality I could be quiet one day and loud the next. Most of the time I’m in the middle with the two so its complicated. I mostly like to be calm and collected but most of the time people want me to speak loud and be different. My friends understand me and that’s all I care about.

My name is Jacqueline but, everyone calls me Jackie. I`m from Fresno,California now i`m currently living in Desert Hot Springs.I like sports but, did not include that in my mandala. I live with my mother and my older brother. My five symbols in my mandala represent me from my past, future, family, and a symbol of choice. My symbols are N$F(BULLDOGS), a Medical Center, my origin, and cheesecake.
My first symbol means a lot to me because its about FRESNO ;where I was born and raised. Its hard for me to talk about it because I can`t really identify myself with anyone who is not from where I`m from. Since its Fresno what I`m talking about , there`s N$F where I grew up and said I would hold up my N$F till I die. You might not see me as a gangster but deep down I still got my N$F Bulldogs in me. I was one of those little pups still trying to find myself whether to get attached still or just leave Fresno. Surprisingly, I decided to move down to Desert Hot Springs with my family; I honestly think I made the right choice.
My second symbol is important to me because my future depends on what I`m going to be in life.In my future I see myself working for Saint Agnes Medical Center that is located in Fresno. I would like to make my mom proud so she can see she has a future nurse in her family. I don`t want to be any nurse, I want to be the lead emergency nurse. The reason I choose to work for Saint Agnes is because my half sister works there as a nurse. This is my priority for my future and to make the people who count on me proud.
My third symbol of choice is cheesecake. If I chose a desert over anything else of choice then it has to be because I really love it. Ever since I was six my parents always brought me cheesecake from a lady who use to sell them. She moved away and I stayed with back to eating hot Cheetos , which was a bad habit. Cheesecake was the thing that truly made me happy ;i`m not even playing. Thanks mom for getting me into eating cheesecake!
As a result, my conclusion of happiness it identifies me. I consider myself always smiling because even when times are rough ,there is always a smile on my face even deep down when i`m mad.One thing about me is anyone who is friendly and nice then i`m friendly and nice to you too.I talk to anyone who chooses to talk to me and we end up as friends. These are all my symbols, THE END.

Hello my name is Deanna Wireman. I a, going to be 15 on October 26, and I’m a freshman at DHSHS. I have 6 symbols that I am going to tell you about. These symbols represent me in many ways. My symbols are; a Banning CA (stage couch town) symbols, a Law Enforcement badge, a Stanford college “S” symbol, a family jumping up, a “B” and a symbol of a Scorpio symbol. These symbols represent my life and how it is.
My first symbol represents my past, which is a Banning CA (stage couch town) symbol. It represents me by where I came from and how I lived life. My past was just in Banning for 15 years. It’s the town I grew up in, and half of my family was from there. My past in banning was pretty cool but a lot of dangerous thing out there. I had got in trouble a lot and I had a really bad reputation. I would always go to banning I would always see the symbol aroumg there and back then the would always throw a stage coach parade.
Next is a symbol of my future, which is two symbol that what I’m going to do in life and what college I plan going to. These symbols are a “S” that stands for Stanford university college. The second one is a Law Enforcement badge. These represent my future by what I want to do in my life. I had change from being in gangs to being a cops, the reason why is because I’ve realzied that if you stay in gangs you could get no where in life. I want to succeed in these careers because I want a good life and to provide my family wrong that I can do good. Also my dad and mom always tried getting into the college and had never succeded and I want to show them I can do good in my life.
My fourth symbol is a family jumping up & having fun. This symbol represents me by how my family is and how they act. The symbol means that my family loves having fun and acting like little kids. We all love each other in every way. My family may not be the best but we always stick together and help each other out with things. My family symbol explains a lot about my family because my family practically acts like little teenagers. They love to mess around and be comedians.
My second to the last symbol is my choice which is a “B” for the life I would live when I lived in banning. So the “B” would always mean and represent Banning. I would always throw this sign up when I was in gangs or when I was always involved in gangs. Sometimes I would get in a lot of trouble when I would do things that were not as brilliant. Yes I admit that I would get caught in something, like shootings, stabbing, or like getting involved in other gang fights. For the consequences I would get put into juvinelle or I would get put into foster homes.
My final symbol is my personality symbol, which was my zodiac sign. The reason why I chose this symbol is because I would always get all my personality from it. I would always look at my horoscope to check how my day would be and how the next day would be. The other symbol that showed my personality was inappropriate. I also always share my horoscope with my family and friends. This symbol is the symbol that represent my personality and is really personal.
I live with my mother, step-father, and three little sisters. I have 4 brothers, but they live with my grandpa. My 5 symbols are: the number 805, law & justice symbol, my family crest, Aries zodiac sign, and the Chinese symbol for friendship.
