I wasn't trying to get a blister but I wanted to break my previous running record. The army taught me how to run for long distances and showed me how to keep going when you feel you're tired. Every day we had to wake up around 5:45 a.m., put on our physical training clothes, and meet in the quad for a run or some other type of training. When I got out of the army, I signed up for a marathon so I can keep running. Although I don't like blisters, it doesn't stop me from running. I love it.
I wasn't trying to get my fingers smashed. One of my biggest fears is losing a finger or a toe. When I was small, I witnessed a young boy get his pinky sliced off in the bathroom door at the Boys & Girls Club. Seeing that, I knew I would always take good care of my five fingers and five toes. Then one day I was getting into a tow truck and my mom accidentally smashed my fingers. I screamed thinking I lost one or two, but luckily she opened the door immediately hence me typing this story.
I wasn't trying to get in trouble. One day in sixth grade, I was outside playing in a tree house with four other friends. We were kind of bored so we started throwing rocks at birds. Then we made some targets using soda cans and fired at them trying to knock them all down. I remember trying to hit a bird near the street and accidentally missing and hitting the neighbors garage door. The lady came to my house to tell at my dad and tell him to punish me, but instead he told the lady to leave his son alone and go away. Thanks dad.
I wasn't trying to die, but I wanted to have fun. I went to the ocean with my daughter and my girlfriend to swim and relax. We took some hot dogs, Doritos , orange soda, and gummy worms. My girlfriend took a large umbrella for shade so we can lay down and not worry about getting sun-burned. I wanted to try surfing but I didn't have a surf board so I took a float-able bed and swam out to the waves. The ocean laughed at me, knocked me off, and attempted to drown me. I struggled for my life and felt that it was almost over. Then the ocean calmed down and allowed me to come up for air.
